Watch Dogs Legion was one of the great E3 2019 surprises this year from Ubisoft, and this time we will be hacking in London. In a rather original grip, Ubisoft now lets you know that via Hitrecord fans of the series can contribute to create the soundtrack of the game.

There are several songs that are taken, including Dark Electronic Heist Song and Anti-Establishment Uptempo Hip Hop Song – and if you get your work done, you will also get compensation for it. The creative director of the game Clint Hocking and audio director Richie Nieto commented on this initiative on Facebook: “From the very beginning we’ve always wanted to include fans and the community in the making of our game,” Hocking said.

Today, the two companies have indicated to renew the operation for Watch Dogs Legion, as we can read on the official website of Ubisoft:

“Whether you’re a musical composer, writer, singer, player, or someone with big ideas and a lot of passion… we are super excited to hear your music composition. You can get started right away! Click below and begin collaborating with other HitRECord and Watch Dogs musicians, players, as well as fans from all around the world on the Watch Dogs: Legion Production Page. MAKE YOUR MARK!”

As with Beyond Good & Evil 2, unused items will still be available on HitRECord and could be used for a fee later. For the 10 tracks that will be retained in the final game, each composer will receive $2,000, to be shared among the people involved.

Recall that Watch Dogs Legion will release on March 6, 2020 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. What do you think of this idea, and will you try to submit a song yourself? Let us know about your opinions in the comments below.
