Call Of Duty: WWII cover causing plagiarism controversy

1 689

This morning Activision has officially announced the new title of Call of Duty: WWII as well as the box art that will illustrate the cover of the game. However, some users have not been slow to notice that this illustration bears a great resemblance to the cover of another title that also addressed the theme of World War II.

The game in question with which players have found great similarities is the one of Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway,  or more specifically, with the cover of its limited edition. In this one the image is appreciated to a soldier posing in the same way in which it does the one that appears in the new Call of Duty cover.

This comparison is already generating a bit of controversy among some users who have not hesitated to launch their argumment against Activision. However so far neither the company nor Ubisoft or Gearbox (responsible for Brothers in Arms) have come out to declare something about it.

And what about you, how do you see it? Is this a mere coincidence? Let us know in the comment section below.
