Call of Duty: WWII will have exclusive maps on PS4 for a limited time
From the first hour, we inform you about the official presentation of Call of Duty: WWII, a game that seeks to return to the roots of the original series located in World War II and whose announcement has caused great expectation in the industry and the media.
The official Call of Duty: WWII cover appeared on Amazon from the UK and it shows a special detail for the PlayStation 4 version, as it appears to have a package of exclusive maps for a period of 30 days.
Sledgehammer will be the studio in charge for the Call of Duty return to its roots with Call of Duty: WWII. As you know, fans have been waiting for such a game for a long time, so to meet their expectations, the development team has studied World War II for years.
Michael Condrey, co-founder of Sledgehammer, was responsible for sharing this news. Shortly after Activision confirmed the existence of Call of Duty: WWII, he released a video in which he tells that, during 2½ years, he traveled with his colleagues to Europe and several parts of the world to investigate the facts of the Second World War.
The fact that Condrey and his team have traveled to various parts of the world seems to indicate that Call of Duty: WWII could explore some of the events of World War II that were not in Europe (such as Pearl Harbor). That being said, the above is a mere conjecture, and nothing that Activision or Sledgehammer have confirmed.
Remember that we will know more details about Call of Duty: WWII at midday on April 26th.
