Dragon Quest VIII pre-load available now on the North American 3DS eShop

The American users can now start the pre-load of Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King from the eShop for Nintendo 3DS.

Since this past dawn, Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King is now available for pre-download at the American eShop of Nintendo 3DS. Thanks to this we have been able to know the space that the game will occupy in the memory of the portable device.

The download involves occupying 24.413 blocks on the SD card of the portable console, which is equivalent to 3051 MB, ie, about 3GB of data to download. As you can see, the size of the download is really huge, ranking among the titles with greatest weight of the 3DS eShop.

The game will be officially released on January 20, both in Europe and in America. With the pre-load when you buy the game, the players can download the vast majority of the data before the launch day arrives. That day, with a small download, the game will be activated and will be available to be played with no more waiting time.

So, if you have an American console and are interested in getting the game in digital format, you can purchase and download it to start playing when it officially launches in the eShop of 3DS this January 20th. In Europe the title will also arrive on the same date, although the eShop of this territory does not allow pre-load.
