Bethesda had said that, despite having appeared in the trailer for revelation of Nintendo Switch, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is not yet confirmed for the new Nintendo console.

“We’re happy to have had the opportunity to collaborate with Nintendo on the video,” said a representative of Bethesda in a chat with GamesIndustry. “While we are not confirming any specific titles at this time, we are pleased to announce our partnership with Nintendo and support of the Switch. We look forward to revealing specific games and details in the future.”

So far, the only games officially announced for Switch are The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Project Sonic, but if we trust the trailer that Nintendo published this morning, we can also expect Splatoon, NBA 2K and a new Mario that will arrive at some time for that platform.

Note that after the trailer was published, Nintendo made it clear that the presented video contained images of representative games to show the nature of Nintendo Switch.

As for Skyrim, Bethesda is infact currently working in a remastered version which will be available for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 from 28 October. Some believe that the company seeks to take care of sales of this issue, and therefore refused to confirm the version of Switch.
