The new location work of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana will require a lot of work and Alan Costa, associate producer of NIS America, will be in charge of informing the fans about the progress. To fulfill the task, the creator opened an official blog where they will inform the state that keeps the new job of localizing the game until it finishes and can launch the patch that will solve everything.
However the first update, in addition to pointing out the work that will be carried out, they gave bad news to the fans who are waiting for the game on PC because of the workload and the need for the patch to come out at the same time on all platforms, it was necessary to delay the release of this version indefinitely.
According to Costa, the new localization work of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana will begin with the revision of the translation with a new translator, a reprint of the guide including text and voice, as well as corrections to item names and descriptions, new voice recordings and process of review of errors of the finished work.
In this way, the version of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana on PC, which had been scheduled to debut this December, will have to wait until the free patch is ready and once that happens the game may debut on the computer and start at the same time as the PS4 and PS Vita versions.
