Yooka-Laylee glitch allows you to get right to the final boss

Some speedrunners have discovered a glitch in Yooka-Laylee that allows you to miss a good half of the game and get right to the clash with the final boss.
Yooka-Laylee is a good 3D platformer of the 90’s, and as such its design, players have to collect a lot of objects to finish it. If you’d rather save yourself the time it would take you to do it, you’ll be interested to know that some playes have discovered a glitch that lets you skip half the game.
After exploring various worlds of Yooka-Laylee, the game takes you to what appears to be the final showdown; However, the reality is very different, since you need 100 pagies to access the last boss (players usually have between 50 and 60 pagies at this point). Thus, players are forced to return to the known lands to complete the missions they left behind and unlock new ones.
A YouTube user has discovered a glitch with which you can avoid doing this and move directly to the last battle. Doing this is very straightforward, since you just enter Hivory Towers and you do damage to specifically one of the acid pools to cross a wall. After that you’ll just have to tap Laylee’s back skills to get through the door that takes you to the last showdown.
Taking advantage of the glitch in question it is possible to skip the entire second half of Yooka-Laylee and find yourself in a few minutes in front of the final battle.
It is clear that if you are playing Yooka-Laylee for the first time it is very unlikely that you want to do this, since you would only be taking hours of fun. However, this is an important discovery for those who are interested in doing Yooka-Laylee speedruns.
Almost certainly the bug will be fixed in a future patch, in the meantime the developers of Playtonic have not spoken anything about it.
Yooka-Laylee is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
