Yakuza Kiwami for PC Available Via Steam on February 19
We have news that will make many PC players happy: SEGA announced that the expected port of Yakuza Kiwami for PC already has a release date.
Through a publication on Steam, SEGA revealed that Yakuza Kiwami will be on sale on Steam from February 19. An interesting detail is that this revelation was not made with text, but with a nice GIF in which Majima Goro is emerging from a sewer. In the last frame of the animation, the release date appears for a second.
The Steam page of Yakuza Kiwami indicates that it will be optimized for PC by allowing players with powerful teams to play it in 4K. In addition, there will be no limit on the frame rate per second, it will have support for widescreen monitors and will present the option of personalized controls.
The bad news is that, until now, SEGA has not revealed how much this version of Yakuza Kiwami will cost. That said, we would not be surprised if it sold for $ 19.99 USD as well as the port of Yakuza 0.
Yakuza Kiwami debuted on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 previously.
Check the overview of the game below:
“Kiwami” means extreme.
1995, Kamurocho… Kazuma Kiryu, the Dragon of Dojima, takes the fall for the murder of a crime boss to protect his sworn brother, Akira Nishikiyama, and his childhood friend, Yumi.
2005… Akira Nishikiyama has become a changed man. Yumi is nowhere to be found. Ten billion yen has gone missing from the Tojo Clan’s coffers, putting the organization on the brink of civil war. And Kazuma Kiryu is released from prison to a world he no longer recognizes.
With enhanced gameplay, an expanded cinematic story, the return of the battle styles from Yakuza 0, more nightlife spots, and re-recorded audio by the series cast, Yakuza: Kiwami is the ultimate and most “extreme” version of the original vision of the series, now optimized for PC with 4K resolutions, uncapped framerates, customisable controls and ultra-widescreen support.
