Yakuza 4 for PS4 Will Release on January 17, 2019 in Japan

After the release of the remastered version of Yakuza 3 for PlayStation 4 in Japan, Sega has confirmed that Yakuza 4 will be available on January 17, 2019. These versions will reach the West, although there is no concrete release date given.
Weekly Famitsu reveals that the character of Masayoshi Tanimura, one of the protagonists of the story, has been revised. Some of his dialogues needed changes and re-recorded, and since the original actor -Hiroki Narimiya- is retired, his model and voice will be different. Toshiki Masuda will play the new Tanimura.
In this installment, Kazuma Kyriu again has to fulfill missions in the problematic neighborhood, which this time can also be explored above, on the rooftops, and through its underground network. Besides, he is not the only playable character.
Originally released on PS3, Yakuza 4 will be entitled to Remaster on PS4 and is part of the company’s plans to put the whole series on the console. The original version of PlayStation 3 was launched in 2011.
Remember that, a western release date has not yet been mentioned, but that will be only a matter of time when it will be disclosed. Are you excited to play this remastered version of Yakuza 4 on PS4? Tell us in the comments below.
