Yako Taro Talks About Bringing Nier: Automata to Nintendo Switch
It’s no secret that many Nintendo Switch players want to see Nier: Automata on the hybrid console of the Big N. However, we have not been able to know too many statements from those responsible. Therefore, the work was extended to Xbox One and, today, the desire to see it on Nintendo Switch is still valid, but such power still rests with Square Enix.
And, in an interview with BunnyGaming, Yoko Taro, director of the game, has stated what he thinks about it. When the creative was asked about the possibility of bringing Nier: Automata on Nintendo Switch, his answer was clear: “You already know the answer,” he said with a laugh. “It’s – ‘Please ask Square Enix!’”
In this sense, it is not the first time that Taro is open to bringing NieR: Automata to Nintendo Switch because, in previous iterations, he has already ensured that the layout of the equipment is present, but that it all depends on the distributor to move forward with the project.
Therefore, taking into account the present growth of Nintendo Switch in the market and the more than notorious popularity of the 2B adventure, we could infer that it is only a matter of time for the union to happen, but we have to wait for Square Enix to speak about it to confirm it.
