At the moment, accurate sales figures have not been disclosed since Xbox One X is available for only two days, but the enthusiasm of Gamestop USA and the Microsoft UK division is certainly at high levels.
As reported in an article by the Wall Street Journal, in a single day (November 7) GameStop has sold nearly all of its stock of Xbox One X. Precise console sales units have not been disclosed, but Bob Puzon, Vice President of the company’s marketing business, is absolutely positive and it is confirmed that in the US Gamestop has asked Microsoft to ship a new stock.
“Sales of the new Xbox One X have been incredible! We have sold through most of our initial allotment in just one day. We are already working with Microsoft to get our hands on more of the world’s most powerful video game console,” the GameStop SVP of merchandising Bob Puzon said.
Absolutely satisfied also is the head of Xbox UK and Ireland Harvey Eagle who, in a recent statement, confirms that the Xbox One X launch sales are really high.
“Demand for the Xbox One X is really high. It’s great to see such enthusiasm from our fans for the new console, and we are working hard to ensure stock is available. We urge customers to order online now or visit your local retailer to guarantee they get their hands on an Xbox One X in time for Christmas,” Eagle said.
Undoubtedly, the enthusiasm seems to be at very high levels even though at the moment there are still no accurate data that we are sure will not be late, considering also that the next Gamestop financial meeting will take place on 21 November.
