As we learned from E3 2016, Microsoft launched a new version of its current generation console, which will be called as Xbox One S. Now, on the official site of Major Nelson, the company revealed that this system will be available in stores from August 2, in just a couple of weeks.
Officially unveiled during the Microsoft conference at the E3 2016, the new model of Xbox One called Xbox One S announced today its future availability in Europe on 2nd August 2016.
Xbox One S is smaller than the standard version of the console that has a storage capacity of 2TB, and features a new design; also it allows you to displaying movie of Blu-ray and video streaming in definition of 4K Ultra HD.
According to the announcement made by Microsoft, in this system games like Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3 and Scalebound will be better thanks to the range of contrast between lights and darks, which will give greater depth to some games.
The control that comes equipped with Xbox One S also contains several improvements to its performance within wireless signal and new Bluetooth functions. The controller can be purchased separately and will cost $60 USD.
This 2TB model should be offered at an introductory price of $399 USD in most stores, while models available equipped with a smaller hard drive will logically be offered from $299 USD. Microsoft also specifies that all Xbox One games, accessories and Xbox Live services will work well with the Xbox One S.
