Xbox One Gets 19 Backward Compatible Xbox Original Games

No doubt there is good news for Xbox fans who have followed the brand since its launch in 2001, as Microsoft announced the new Xbox Original games that will come to Xbox One via backwards compatibility, and there are many surprises.

Recently, we informed you about a list of leaks that included 4 games: The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Destroy All Humans!, MX Unleashed and Full Spectrum Warrior. However, the best news was announced this afternoon, when Microsoft revealed that the original titles of Star Wars: Battlefront, among others in the franchise, will arrive on Xbox One during this month. According to the company, they worked with Disney to make the licenses available again.

Bill Stillwell, one of the guys at Xbox backwards compatibility team, was on the latest broadcast of Inside Xbox to reveal a list that includes 19 Xbox Original games. So, there are great surprises like the original Star Wars games, but there are also several requests that came true, such as Conker: Live & Reloaded and Jade Empire.

As expected, the games will take advantage of the extra power of the current Xbox consoles, so they will receive visual improvements. The titles will arrive on different dates and you can see the complete list right away.

Remember that if you have the discs of these games or even if you have the digital license you can download them without making any payment. On the other hand, they will also be available on the Microsoft Store for those who could not play them during its launch years ago.
