Xbox Boss Talks about Blue Dragon Xbox One Backwards Compatibility

Blue Dragon was not the most successful Xbox 360 game, but certainly generated a fan base that continues wondering if there will be a second part. In this situation, the head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, mentioned that a sequel is possible.
Through Twitter, a user asked Spencer if there is hope on Blue Dragon 2, and even said that anything is possible, he explained that at this time the Xbox team is more focused on bringing the title to Xbox One with backward compatibility.
“Right now more focused on getting BD1 to XB1 owners,” he said. “I’d never say never but not working on BD2 now.”

The fans of Blue Dragon will know that it was developed by Mistwalker, studio of Hironobu Sakaguchi, the father of Final Fantasy; the game also featured the participation of Akira Toriyama.
Regarding the backward compatibility, Spencer said in August that Blue Dragon will arrive sometime on Xbox One, because in May Microsoft launched the support of backward compatible with multi-disc games, a feature that began with Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut.
