Rumor: Dying Light 2 Will Be Announced At E3 2018
Dying Light has certainly proved to be among the most successful zombie-themed titles of the last few years. The Techland title has met the expectations of players and specialized press, always offering new content to its player base thanks to the numerous and constant updates published by the developers.
According to an article on the Polish website GraczposPolita, it would seem that Techland has been working on Dying Light 2 for a long time, and they intend to make its announcement at the E3 2018 in Los Angeles to be held in a few weeks.
“Currently, the studio focuses on the preparation of a high-quality trailer to be presented at the upcoming E3 fairs in Los Angeles (12-14 June). When asked if due to the release of standalone DLC Dying Light: Bad Blood, which focuses on multiplayer battle royale gameplay, there was a chance to expand on it in Dying Light 2, the answer was “it’s highly probable”. Bad Blood is supposed to be a first major test for such a mode in the world of Dying Light. I’ve also received a confirmation the announcement of DL2 was constantly being put off because the first game was still receiving support and the team was focused on aforementioned Bad Blood addon. Seems quite reasonable,” we can read from the translation provided by the Bansai user on ResetEra.
It is also claimed that Techland is simultaneously working on another major project. In this regard, the possibility that it is Hellraid is excluded, since the game “was definitively deleted/ canceled”. We recommend that you take the news with due precaution, waiting for an eventual official announcement at E3 2018.
