Worms WMD coming to Nintendo Switch

The developer Team17 officially announced that Worms WMD will be available on the Nintendo Switch “later this year”. The game was originally released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC last August 2016, but in addition, the version of Switch will have some updated content.
This title will also have the existing Forts mode. It will also include 3 new outfits and tombs, among other customizable options. According to Team17, Worms WMD on Switch will have support for single Joy-Con play, both for local multiplayer and online.
In Worms WMD, Players are placed in the hide of an army of famous worms that must overcome battles. This is a particularly interesting title in multiplayer mode, especially if it is local, where Nintendo Switch can give much of its own portable features and controllers.
Players will have access to a campaign consisting of 30 levels and accompanied by all the classic weapons of the series to refine their tactics before making the leap to multiplayer.
In other related news, Nintendo revealed some indie titles for Switch at an event called Nindies Summer Showcase. Among the most prominent announcement was Super Meat Boy Forever, Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition and a new No More Heroes title called Travis Strikes Again.
