World War Z First Gameplay Trailer Released
World War Z – the title inspired by the film of the same name – is shown in a first trailer that includes some phases of gameplay. In the game, it will be possible to gather up to four people in cooperative multiplayer to try to defend themselves from hordes of undead, some with special characteristics.
For those who do not know the film, remember that the setting is one of the most classic among those in the horror genre: the world population was decimated by an epidemic that has turned into zombies and most of the inhabitants and the few survivors fight the infection with the few means at their disposal.
The first trailer offers us a taste of this and illustrates one of the locations in which the adventure will be set, Moscow. Among the other locations of the invasion, we find New York, Jerusalem, and Seoul. The gameplay specifically represents the Moscow area, in which players assemble various defenses, such as barricades and machine guns. The zombies, however, have a few tricks up their sleeves, piling up on top of each other to access higher locations.
The gameplay features first-person shooter and the ability to use guns and other tools. As an example, you can use a hammer to face the undead closely when their numbers are reduced.
An official release date for the game has not yet been announced, however, the trailer suggests that World War Z will soon arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam. We remind you that in 2019 the second film will debut, which will always be attended by Brad Pitt and directed by David Fincher.
