Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap Launch Trailer Released


DotEmu and Lizardcube have today released the launch trailer of Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap. If you do not remember, this title is a remake of Wonder Boy III, title that arrived to the SEGA Master System in 1989. Without a doubt, the fans of this franchise have reason to be excited, since Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap will debut tomorrow on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap features completely hand-drawn animations as well as an improved soundtrack, as all tracks were orchestrated.

This adventure will put us in the role of Wonder Boy, who by a curse of Meka-Dragon, is transformed into various animals, such as a lizard, a mouse, a hawk, a lion and a piranha. Each transformation will give Wonder Boy special abilities that you must master to reach the end of the game.

According to Lizardcube, Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap will also debut on PC; However, there is no confirmed release date. It is expected that in a couple of weeks the title will come to Steam. The cost of the game will be $30 USD on all confirmed platforms.

In this installment of the franchise  a new playable character will debut: Wonder Girl.
