Wolfenstein Youngblood Guide: How To Use The Buddy Pass

0 190

Wolfenstein Youngblood presents a system called Buddy Pass, which will allow you to share the game with a friend, let’s see how it works in our mini-guide.

Wolfenstein Youngblood is officially on the shelves. Announced at E3 2019, the new shooter of Arkane Studios and MachineGames will have not one, but two protagonists in the main campaign. If you purchase the Deluxe Edition of the title you will have access to a system called Buddy Pass, which basically allows you to share your copy of the game with a friend, in order to play cooperatively. Let’s see how to use the Buddy Pass in Wolfenstein Youngblood.

Wolfenstein Youngblood Guide on how to use the Buddy Pass:

Let’s start by saying that to make everything work, your friend will have to download the free trial of the game, present in the store. To share the experience with a partner, all you have to do is invite him/her from the main menu of the title, without any code, proof or anything else: just as you would if your friend had a personal copy.

The beauty of the Buddy Pass is the fact that your partner will have no timer, nothing at all, but can assist you from the start of your campaign to the end. Furthermore, the experience cannot be shared only with one person, but you can have all the friends you want (provided you let them in one at a time).

Although players who join together thanks to this system will normally advance in the main campaign, they will not earn trophies (goals or anything else) dedicated to the latter, since they do not have a personal copy. To use the Buddy Pass, you and your friends will need to have a subscription (Xbox Live Gold, PlayStation Plus or Nintendo Switch Online) in case you play on a console.

We remind you that the title is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, Xbox One and (soon) on Google Stadia.
