Windows 10 Game Mode will also support titles of Project Scorpio and Xbox One

Game Mode for Windows 10 will also support Xbox One and Project Scorpio. After it was filtered into the build of Windows 10 14997, it “looks like Windows will adjust its resource allocation logic (for CPU/Gfx etc) to prioritize the “Game” when running in “Game Mode”.

Microsoft has invested a lot of effort to improve the experience in gaming on PCs. No wonder Steam players have almost matched its use to that of Windows 7, and it seems things will be much better for the latest operating system from Microsoft soon.

Through a tweet posted by one WalkingCat, in the latest build of Windows 10, a file called gamemode.dll has appeared. Apparently this function will “adjust its resource allocation logic ” to prioritize a game that the user is running.

In this way, Game Mode will disable other processes to be left in the background, and thus give full performance to the game in question. This method or system is expected to arrive with the update of Creators Update in spring.

Also, Windows Central has pointed out that this application will also serve the games of Xbox One and Project Scorpio.

In any case, Game Mode is useful for computers that are more difficult to run a game normally.
