Ubisoft has released a new video of Watch Dogs 2, its new open world game that will be available on November 15 for Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4. This new video focuses on DedSec and hacking, two of the most important pillars of the sequel.
Watch Dogs 2 will move its action to the city of San Francisco, offering a warm and colorful atmosphere than its first issue. The story takes us to fight a second version of CTOs 2.0 operating system, and set foot on wall to the major technology companies in the sector. The title’s main protagonist is Marcus, a hero more open and relaxed than the first title. In fact as narrated in the video, the collective hacker and hacktivism, as well as the millenial culture and habitual of Internet, with memes, electronic music, will be vital in his personality and in the game’s plot.
This is also seen in the gameplay of Watch Dogs 2, that will be decidedly uncouth and direct, and more agile – the protagonist moves through the stages more easily -, presenting a large majority of situations that can be resolved in a manner not lethal and fun. Another new addition to the improved technical section, is the introduction of drones and the cooperative for two players.
In addition it was accompanied by comments from the development team, which talks about the different elements of the game and, in general, what we can expect from Watch Dogs 2.
