Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated titles by the community of players. However, its release date still remains secret. Despite this, there is new information about its debut in North America.
Through a statement, CD Projekt RED, the company in charge of the futuristic title, confirmed that Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will be in charge of distributing the game in the western region.
With this, the companies form a new alliance and strengthen their commercial ties. Also, CD Projekt RED recalled that its new project is on its way to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
“We’ve worked with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment on The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and both releases turned out to be really successful, so we’re entering this new stage of our cooperation with great confidence. Cyberpunk 2077 is our biggest and most ambitious project to date, and I’m really looking forward to all the amazing things we can achieve together,” said Michal Nowakowski, member of the board of directors of CD Projekt RED.
For his part, Kevin Kebodeaux, vice president of sales of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment America, highlighted the work that the studio is doing with this new project so ambitious. “CD Projekt RED is one of the best game development studios in the world and it’s great to be working with the team again. Cyberpunk 2077 is a standout title and we are expecting great things from our continued collaboration with CD Projekt RED,” said the director.
Cyberpunk 2077 is an action RPG where the narrative will play an important role. We will play as V, a mercenary who will explore and fight in various locations of Night City.
Cyberpunk 2077 will debut on a date yet to be confirmed for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
