Visceral Games: Devolver Digital makes an ironic proposal to former employees

The closure of Visceral Games surprised everyone a bit, sparing both players and workmen. Curiously, Devolver Digital has offered former studio developers a game based on the “Spaceballs” movie.
In this case, the subject of provocation is the sad end of Visceral Games, suddenly closed by Electronic Arts after the probable decision to transform the new Star Wars game, entrusting it to another team.
As many of you know, “Spaceballs” is a humorous film that contains many Star Wars quotes from which you can catch the joking tone of the tweet at bottom of the page: “If ex-Visceral folks want to ‘spiritual successor’ that EA game into a Spaceballs project give us a holler,” reads the Tweet.
This is not the first time that Devolver Digital used an ironic tone to comment on a hot news in the industry, as there has been some case recently with the acquisition of Humble Bundle by IGN.
Indeed, Humble Bundle announced the acquisition of the company by IGN. In a joking tone, Devolver Digital publisher wanted to talk on the subject, posting a somewhat ironic tweet that you can check here.
By staying on the current situation of Visceral Games, however, we remind you that recently Sony Santa Monica also offered maximum support to the former employees of the studio.
