The distributor Focus Home Interactive released a video with 15 minutes of gameplay showing us new gameplay of the pre-alpha version of Vampyr, the next RPG from the developer Dontnod Entertainment.
Focus Home Interactive and Dontnod Entertainment have released a long video showing 15 minutes of gameplay of Vampyr, drawn from the pre-alpha version of the game, the same as shown to the press during the Gamescom in Cologne.
The video shows some of the main features of this title, in which the narrative is entirely tied with the gameplay. In the scenes presented, some of the characters will interact with you on your adventure, whose protagonist is the Dr. Jonathan Reid. The gameplay also shows other aspects of the game including the combat system, your character’s skills, moral choices, the investigative sessions, and much more.
Vampyr is the story of Jonathan Reid, a doctor who, once becomes a vampire, and he will face a lethal epidemic that hit the city of London. The protagonist must however also keep under control his thirst for blood, which led him to kill innocent victims.
Focus Home warned, however, that as this is a pre-Alpha version, some aspects are not polished yet, because they are in an even earlier stage. Vampyr is scheduled to arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in 2017.
