Vampyr PC Version Won’t Use Denuvo

Vampyr Game

Now everything is ready for the release of Vampyr. The game entered the gold phase last week and the complete list of unlockable trophies has also appeared on the web, but there is still a doubt that is gripping many PC players. Will Vampyr use Denuvo anti-piracy protection? The answer is simply, no.

This was confirmed by the same developers on Twitter. Their new game will run without the controversial protection, very little loved by a large share of users. According to many, in fact, the performance of the games that use it worsens. It happened for example with Tekken 7, for the same admission of the director Katsuhiro Harada. In this specific case, the frame rate dropped when shots were performed like Akuma’s Shakunetsu Hadouken.

We take this opportunity to remind you that Vampyr will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on June 5th. In the game of Dontnod, the choices will play a crucial role: for this reason, players will have only one save slot for a playthrough, so they will not be able to retrace their steps to modify a choice already made.

These, however, the minimum and recommended requirements of the PC version:

Minimum requirements:
Operating system: Windows 7/8/10 (64 bit)
Processor: Intel Core i3-2130 (3.4 GHz) / AMD FX-4100 (3.6 GHz)
Memory: 8 GB of RAM
Video card: 2 GB, GeForce GTX 660 / Radeon R7 370
Memory: 20 GB of available space

Recommended Requirements:
Operating system: Windows 7/8/10 (64 bit)
Processor: Intel Core i7-3930K (3.2 GHz) / AMD Ryzen 5 1600 (3.2 GHz)
Memory: 16 GB of RAM
Video card: 4 GB, GeForce GTX 970 / Radeon R9 390
Memory: 20 GB of available space
