Rumor: Upcoming Nintendo Direct Teases Info on Animal Crossing New Horizons & More

A new leak of information on the upcoming Nintendo Direct would have revealed that it would contain new information about Pokémon Sword and Shield, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Animal Crossing New Horizons. According to the same leak, this Nintendo Direct would take place on November 13, with the last part focused on multiplayer, crafting and various improvements of Animal Crossing.

The part dedicated to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will see the announcement of a Minecraft DLC, Crash Bandicoot should be confirmed as the next DLC character in the game and Ryu Hayabusa should be teased in the second Fighter Pass.

But given the proximity to the release of Pokémon Sword and Shield, the attention of the fans should turn in majority towards these two games.

Assuming that the given date is accurate, this live stream will take place two days before the release of Sword and Shield. This leak specifies that this part will begin with “the final evolutions” for Flambino, Larmeleon and Ouistempo, the starters of the games, which may seem curious since the second evolutions have not yet been revealed. However, there is some time left until 13 November and intermediate developments could be revealed in this interval.

This leak also specifies that there will be two Pokémons in the game area exclusive to each version: the first will be of the Ghost/Water-type and will be based on the idea of a ghost ship, and the other one of a Fire/Plant type.

The game dedicated to Pokémon will end with the revelation of a Space-Dolphin Pokémon, which would be a Legendary Pokémon of an unknown type.

However, this information should be taken with the utmost caution, as some details may be problematic. Especially the space-dolphin, although that is not impossible. The final evolution of the starters could also be a typo, or announce that the next evolution is coming soon. And the date of November 13 is surprisingly close to November 15, date of release of the two games, which would mean that Nintendo wanted to keep these major news just before their release.

The reliability of this leak depends on the confirmation of the date of the next Nintendo Direct, the next revelation of the second evolution, or if all this is reversed by Nintendo in the coming days.

As a reminder, Pokémon Sword and Shield will release on November 15, 2019 exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
