0 118

The Uncharted movie continues with instability in its creative team. When it was believed that the project was going stable with the direction of Dan Trachtenberg, it was revealed that he will abandon the ship of this production. So, once again Uncharted movie was left without a director.

This news comes from sources from Deadline, a specialized media that has several connections in the industry. According to its report, Sony Pictures is now working quickly to find a replacement for Trachtenberg before the end of the summer. It is worth mentioning that it is estimated that the production of the Uncharted movie will begin at the beginning of next year and that Tom Holland will be its protagonist.

Another important point is that Deadline mentions that Uncharted will be the first production to debut as a product of PlayStation Productions. In case you do not know, it is a new branch of PlayStation commanded by Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan, which seeks to produce series and movies based on intellectual properties of PlayStation. It is worth mentioning that PlayStation Productions has not commented on this news or about the exit of Trachtenberg.

It should be noted that the Uncharted movie is scheduled to premiere on December 20, 2020. At the moment it is unknown if this change will have any impact on this plan.

We remind you that the Uncharted movie has a script made by Art Marcum, Matt Holloway and Rafe Judkins, who will tell a story that will follow the origins of Nathan Drake. So, we will see the PlayStation adventurer before becoming a treasure hunter.
