Naughty Dog has announced that today it will release an update for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, which will add a new map to the game.
Uncharted 4 is about to inflate its contents, at least the multiplayer side. Considered by many players as the game of the year on PlayStation 4, the last title of the Naughty Dog studio has fully satisfied the fans of the series.
The new DLC will be called New Devon and will be located in the ruins of an abandoned pirate colony. Located in the tropical environment of the end of the solo adventure, this playground comes free with the update 1.12 of the game. This is what the studio said about it:
“It’s one of our largest maps to-date and features wide open exteriors with elevated vantages for those who prefer long-range engagements. If you’re more of a run-and-gun player, don’t worry — there’s no shortage of tight corridors for close-quarters combat.”
Likewise, the developers also noted that some improvements are added, among which there are new rewards, premium content and adjustments to the competitive mode.
The update 1.12 also includes a number of balance changes geared to the multiplayer mode of Uncharted 4, as well as bug fixes and stability improvements. You can check all the changes on the official website of the game.
Note that, according to the multiplayer plans of Uncharted 4, Naughty Dog will still add a cooperative mode, more maps, weapons and cosmetic items.
Finally, Naughty Dog announced that between 2 and 16 September they will offer discounts from 33% to 62% on all the DLC Relic chests.
