Naughty Dog has unveiled plans for the DLC of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, with regards to the maps and the multiplayer mode that will be totally free.
Sony Interactive Entertainment and Naughty Dog have announced that the maps and multiplayer modes post-launch of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be free. An identical plan for all buyers of the game that will last until the spring of next year with a constancy and least enviable frequency.
Along with all the details, you can check summaries found in the image at the bottom of the news, and have also announced game modes available at launch. Here they are:
1. Ranked Team Deathmach
3. Team Deathmatch
5. Warm Up Playlist
In addition to the multiplayer maps and game modes, all cosmetic content and functional gameplay items from the In-Game Store are free that can be unlocked throughout gameplay. Naughty Dog will do everything in order not to fragment the multiplayer community. Therefore, all the DLC will be unlocked for free.
Also all cosmetic items are free to play with ‘Relics’, a kind of currency you earn by playing. If you’re too lazy or do not have time, you can buy the so-called ‘Uncharted Points”, this is a paid currency that you can use to unlock the same items.
In addition, we already know that there are also paid DLCs expected, such as those of the Triple Pack available at launch, and which also provides for a multiplayer expansion, but will be of an entirely different nature.
Recall that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be available exclusively for the PlayStation 4 from next Tuesday, May 10.
