Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers will release on May 26 in Japan

Capcom Japan has announced today that Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers for Nintendo Switch will be available in Japan from May 26 in digital format (4,620 yen) and retail (4,999 yen).
During the last episode of Capcom TV, Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers was presented, and has even received a couple of announcements. Let’s start with the most important: the release date!
It has been announced that the game would be released on May 26 in Japan, which will cost 4,990 yen (in physical format) and 4,620 yen (in the eShop for Nintendo Switch).
As you can see from the above image, the launch date for Europe and North America is still TBA, so we will have to wait a little longer before getting a release date for those two territories. However, there is no doubt that the western launch will arrive shortly after it reaches the Japanese country, or maybe it takes place during the same week.
But that’s not all, because during the episode of Capcom TV it was also announced that Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers will also feature touch controls, similar to Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition. There are 4 icons on the left and right side of the screen, and you can touch them to move them. You can do this while using controls button, so you do not have to choose between one or the other.
Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers will include new characters (Evil Ryu and Violent Ken) and the extra modes of Way of the Hado (playable in the first person), Gallery Mode (with over 250 artwork taken from the volume SF20: The Art of Street Fighter) and Edit Mode to customize the color of various wrestlers.
