Last March, Capcom announced that Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers would be sold at full price in North America, today the pubisher has also confirmed the prices for the European continent: 34.99 pounds in the UK and 39.99 euro in Europe.
As it was already revealed in a report published about a month ago, the physical edition of the games on Nintendo Switch can cost more than those for other platforms.
Today we talk about a case unconnected with those particular reasons but still focused once again on prices of the games scheduled for the Nintendo console. As reported by Eurogamer.net, Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers has a rather high price that will be offered to well at €39.99 in Europe and £35 in UK. This is a remarkable figure for a game that is basically a port of the Xbox 360 and PS3 of Super Street Fighter 2 HD Remix (released in 2008).
Eurogamer.net has tried to consult the home of Osaka for clarification on the price, considered too high by many community members. Capcom , for its part, stated that Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers is not a simple remastered game of Super Street Fighter 2 HD Remix, this new edition includes two additional characters (Evil Ryu and Violent Ken), the choice of retro and modern graphics style, in addition to the features of Way of the Hado and a gallery with over 1,400 different illustrations.
Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers will be available in Europe from May 26th exclusively on Nintendo Switch. Any porting for the other platforms have not yet been announced.
