Take-Two's GTA V

Grand Theft Auto V is one of the most famous games in the world. It has remained for months on the list of best-selling games in the United Kingdom. After a constant struggle, the title of Rockstar, GTA V, managed to retake the first position. This implies that it outperformed popular games in the region, such as Call of Duty: WWII and FIFA 18.

The last time this title was in first place in the month of June of 2017. Little by little, the game went back positions throughout the months. Thanks to this, it spends its 14th week at the top of the sales list.

According to the details, GTA V has not left the top 40 since its launch. It has spent 226 weeks on the list, 123 of them in the top 5. This week, Call of Duty: WWII remained in second place, while FIFA 18 went from the first to the third position.

The top 5 is complemented by Assassin’s Creed: Origins and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, a title that went back several positions, since it went from position 12 to 5.

Even though Activision and EA dominated UK physical sales in 2017, GTA V was the third best-selling physical game in Europe during the past year. The title is still largely in force because of its online component, which continuously receives new content.
