Call of Duty WWII is again number 1 in the United Kingdom for the fifth consecutive week.
Crash Bandicoot: N Sane Trilogy has managed to stay in the first place for so many weeks of the British charts this year. WWII is very close to reaching Black Ops III as the Call of Duty that has sold fastest in physical format in this generation (although taking into account that the percentage of digital sales must have already exceeded that long figure).
The only entry in the Top 40 sales has been Xenoblade Chronicles 2, which has entered the 19th position. The sales lists in November and December are hard, and despite this has managed to enter nine places above Xenoblade Chronicles X (December 4, 2015) with approximately one third more sales than the Wii U game.
The week after Black Friday, 1.3 million physical games were sold, 24% less than the previous week. Cyber Monday has helped mitigate the fall.
The first five games this week repeat with respect to the previous one. FIFA 18 is a tad below FIFA 17 (not counting again with digital sales) and Gran Turismo: Sport is about to surpass Crash Bandicoot: N Sane Trilogy as the best-selling PS4 exclusive of the year. Battlefront II sales are improving, although they remain below the level of Battlefield 1.
In the Top Ten, there are also titles such as Star Wars Battlefront II, Assassin’s Creed Origins, Super Mario Odyssey and Forza Motorsport 7. Check the rankings below.
