Ubisoft reveals first new official details about Assassin’s Creed Origins


At the Electronic Entertainment Expo, Ubisoft has announced Assassin’s Creed Origins, which will be available worldwide from October 27, 2017 for household devices including Xbox One, Xbox One S and Xbox One X (on exit at the shops, as of November 7, 2017), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro and Windows PC.

Over the past four years, the team at Ubisoft Montreal, author of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, worked to give a new start to the series. Assassin’s Creed Origins takes players in ‘Ancient Egypt, the most mysterious place in history during a crucial period that will shape the civilization as we know it. Taking on the role of Bayek, a guardian of Egypt, whose personal history leads to the emergence of the Brotherhood of Assassins, players will be immersed in a free roaming open world, detailed and interactive, where they will have the chance to discover the secrets of the Great Pyramids, the forgotten myths, the last pharaohs and hieroglyphics engraved in some long-lost history, the story of the birth of the Assassins.

Assassin’s Creed Origins is a new vision of the series with elements of action games and RPG, allowing players to raise their level, get loot and choose the skills to customize your assassin. In addition, players will experience a whole new combat system, which will allow you to attack and defend yourself from multiple enemies at the same time, as well as equip rare weapons to deal with unique and powerful bosses.

A renewed narrative experience will also ensure maximum freedom in choosing and completing missions, each of which will offer an exciting and intense story, full of interesting characters and meaningful goals. With a whole scenario to discover, from deserts and oasis, from the Mediterranean Sea to the tombs of Giza, players will have to wade through dangerous factions and wild creatures, while exploring this vast unpredictable territory.

In addition, they were also announced the Deluxe and the Gold Edition of Assassin’s Creed Origins. In the Deluxe Edition, players will find the basic game, a hand-drawn map of the game world, the official soundtrack and the Digital Deluxe package, which includes the mission of Ambush in Sea, the package of Cobra of the Desert and three bonus Skill points. The Gold Edition will include all digital content of the Deluxe Edition in addition to the Season Pass, which will give players the ability to access all future major expansions and two new sets of equipment.
