Ubisoft partners with SpectreVision for producing new Virtual Reality horror games
Ubisoft has announced a partnership with SpectreVision, production company of horror films, with the aim of producing horror video games in virtual reality.
The advent of virtual reality headsets allow a new immersion experience in the media, whether for film or video games. Ubisoft said on its official blog that it intends to address the issue.
Indeed, the publisher has announced a partnership with SpectreVision, production company based for horror films in 2010 to working with Ubisoft FunHouse Studio (based in Montreal) on projects including for virtual reality.
“Their expertise in the horror film genre is exciting for us,” says Patrick Plourde, Vice President of Ubisoft Montreal” says Patrick Plourde, Vice President of Ubisoft Montreal. “We’re looking forward to a collaboration that will ultimately offer fans an unforgettable virtual reality experience” he added.
The question is what will the horror video games will result from this partnership.
