Ubisoft Hints At 2 Unannounced AAA Games for Release By April 2019

A detail in the financial report refers to unannounced titles.

Ubisoft's Upcoming Undisclosed Project

The recent financial report of Ubisoft not only showed us the important results obtained by the French company, it also allowed us to know their position regarding the loot boxes and there was even time to turn on the hype. We tell you this because a mention in the report reveals that the company has 2 AAA games that could be released, at the latest, in March of 2019.

During its financial report, Ubisoft presented its projections for the following fiscal year, which in the case of them would be counted from April 2018 to March 2019, and there it was mentioned that the expectation is to launch 4 AAA games in that period of time.

The information was noticed at the beginning by Niko Partners analyst, Daniel Ahmad, who did not hesitate to share the data and remember that in that period of time The Crew 2 will be launched and, very likely, Skull & Bones, which leaves open the possibility to 2 games of high caliber that have not been announced.

According to the Ubisoft report, there will be no Assassin’s Creed game this year and the plan is to work on the DLC content for AC: Origins, so it is possible to rule out that one of the 2 unannounced games involves a new installment of the series.

In addition, some fans considered in forums that it could not be Beyond Good and Evil 2 since it is in an initial phase of development. At the same time, some opinions are betting on a new release of Splinter Cell or Watch_Dogs 3, as Far Cry 5 is about to debut, the new release of South Park already did and both Ghost Recon: Wildlands and Rainbow Six Siege is fulfilling its life cycle, which makes a sequel in that launch window unlikely.
