A couple of days ago, Bluehole and Tencent made public their collaboration to bring PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds to mobile devices. If you are a fan of this title, you should know that the companies have planned 2 titles for these platforms: PUBG Mobile Game: Battlefield and PUBG Mobile Game: Army Attack. Both projects will be in charge of Lightspeed & Quantum Studio and Tencent TIMI Studio, respectively.
Both titles are confirmed, for now, only for the Chinese market. The games will be developed in Unreal Engine 4 and will offer an experience quite similar to the Battle Royal version on PC. The first of them, PUBG Mobile Game: Battlefield, will stick to the survival mechanics of the original game.
According to analyst Daniel Ahmad, PUBG Mobile Game: Army Attack will offer us a more arcade experience. In addition, it will have a quite interesting addition, because it will allow you to dispute naval battles. Without further ado, we leave you with the trailer for both games below:
Neither Bluehole nor Tencent has shared information about their release dates. As you can imagine, there are no details about whether they will debut in the future in the West. So, we will have to wait to know more details about these points and their game mechanics.
What is a fact is that in a few days PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will debut on Xbox One, a system where you will need 30GB of free space for the initial installation. On the other hand, next week will reveal with great fanfare the new map of the Battle Royal, this will occur in the framework of The Game Awards 2017, an award where the title will compete to be the best game of the year.
