The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency, the new studio of David Jaffe, creator of Twisted Metal, suffered a severe blow after the cancellation of the project that they were working on. In addition, a large part of its workforce lost its job.

David Jaffe, the head of Bartlet Jones, shared this news through his Twitter account, where he confirmed that the project was canceled and, as a result, he was forced to dismiss most of the staff of his gaming division.

“I wanted you all to hear it from me before anyone else: We’ve had a project canceled and have been forced to lay off the vast majority of the Bartlet Jones staff gaming division. More news to come but for now, that’s what’s up. Heart’s breaking for the amazingly talented crew that’s out of work,” said the creative.

Jaffe did not specify what was the project that was canceled. That said, Barlet Jones is the same studio responsible for the development of Drawn to Death, so this news could also mean the end to its post-launch support.

At the moment there is no more information on what this means for the future of David Jaffe and Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency. As usual, we will keep an eye on it to share all the news related to you.
