Twin Mirror Delayed To 2020, Exclusive to Epic Games Store

Do you remember Twin Mirror, the new game from Dontnod Entertainment studio? If you answered affirmatively, we have bad news for you: you will have to wait a little longer than you thought to play it. What we are referring to is that it was delayed.

Through a statement, Dontnod Entertainment announced that it is seeking to optimize the title of Twin Mirror experience so that it reaches its full potential. That is why, the company decided to extend its development and change its release date to 2020.

That’s not all, since the studio also announced that it has reached an agreement with Epic Games Store. In this way, the PC version of Twin Mirror will be an exclusive 12 months of the Epic Games Store.

To conclude, the studio revealed that it closed a deal with Bandai Namco Entertainment to get all rights to Twin Mirror. That said, they will continue to work with this company to take their game to America and Europe.

Finally, we will remember some of the statements offered by the Dontnod team regarding the possibilities that Twin Mirror would present when interacting with the different characters of the work: “You have the possibility to explore relationships, see people you have not seen in a long time … Sometimes you can even have an impact on your relationships if you decide that it is […] You can decide to go solo if you want to. You can do what you need or just what you want. It is up to you to decide how much you want to explore and when you want to see the people that Sam knew about his past.”
