Total War: Warhammer 2 “Rise of the Tomb Kings” DLC Available in January 2018
For all users of Total War: Warhammer 2 there is excellent news to close the year as SEGA and Creative Assembly presented their next expansion that will bring a new faction: Rise of the Tomb Kings.
The Rise of the Tomb Kings expansion will reach Total War: Warhammer 2 on January 23, 2018, and will integrate the faction of the same name. This new race will not have a particular campaign but it can be integrated into the game campaign because it will have some specific objectives that will end with the battle for the Black Pyramid.
Rise of the Tomb Kings will come with 4 legendary new lords: Settra the Imperishable, High Queen Khalida, Grand Hierophant Khatep and Arkhan the Black. With the announcement of the upcoming expansion of Total War: Warhammer 2 the corresponding trailer was presented, that you can see at the end of this article.
Once awakened from their sleep, the pharaohs in question will bring with them new Legendary Lords and a series of specific mechanics in terms of gameplay. There are also new victory objectives and new units: skeletal soldiers, scorpions and more. Having said this, it should be emphasized that the expansion, while enriching the campaign, does not introduce new narrative elements.
The purpose of the Tomb Kings is to find the nine books of Nagash. Each book provides a bonus in the campaign. The army of the Tomb Kings is diverse and has the possibility to call up sandstorms and to resurrect fallen warriors.
Total War: Warhammer 2 is available on PC.
