This is why Nintendo Switch version of Rime will cost more than others
Yesterday, Grey Box announced that Rime will arrive on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on May 26 while the Nintendo Switch edition will be published during the summer. It also will be priced slightly higher on the console of Big N: 44.99 euro against 34.99 euro for the other platforms.
Tequila Works, Grey Box and Six Foot have announced the highly anticipated release date of Rime, a colorful and poetic adventure that, after many delays, finally sees the light in a few months. On May 26, the game will be released officially in both physical and digital edition on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, at a cost of €34.99.
But there is one detail, always reported in the press, which is likely to turn the curiosity of the players of the Big N console: in this case, the recommended price is €44.99, €10 more than the other versions.
Gematsu has asked for clarification from the publisher, who responded with these words: “We set prices for our products based on the costs of development and publishing for each specific platform.”
Grey Box has revealed that the Switch edition of RIME will not include bonus content compared to the other but can be played obviously in TV mode than in portable version. The use of other specific characteristics of the new console of Nintendo has not been confirmed.
The title looks really interesting. Rime will lead us to experience the adventure of a boy who want to discover and explore a fantasy world. Among that puzzles are based on the play of light, sounds or the manipulation of time. All seasoned with vibrant colors and an exciting soundtrack.
