The World Ends With You: Final Remix Launches October 12th on Nintendo Switch
RPG fans are looking forward to The World Ends With You: Final Remix, an original title port in development for Nintendo Switch. We know that the game will arrive in Japan at the end of September, but we will have to wait a few more weeks to enjoy it.
Nintendo and Square Enix today revealed the release date of The World Ends With You: Final Remix for America. The title will be released in the physical and digital format on October 12. The companies also presented a new trailer that gives us a look at the updated graphics section of the game.
In addition, the video features several protagonists of this adventure, such as Neku, Shiki, Beat, Rhime and Joshua. “The World Ends with You: Final Remix is coming to Nintendo Switch on 10/12! This definitive version of a modern RPG classic will bring a new scenario and some killer, new remixed music,” Nintendo wrote on Twitter.
The World Ends With You: Final Remix will take advantage of the capabilities of Nintendo Switch to provide a good gaming experience. It will be possible to enjoy the RPG with touch controls in the portable mode or with Joy-Con in the desktop and TV modes.
It will also offer cooperative battles with the possibility of using a single pair of controls. In addition to the music, the sound effects and voices were improved to have a high quality.
In the new chapter with the story, Neku will face enemies not available in the original version for Nintendo DS. This implies that there will be more Reapers and Noises. The game will be released in Japan with a special edition, but at the moment there is no similar package confirmed for America.
The World Ends With You: Final Remix will release on Nintendo Switch on October 12th.
