At the Microsoft press conference that took place yesterday in the frame of E3 2017, the company promoted with bombardment the arrival of Xbox One X and presented some of the titles that will have improvements to support 4K resolutions, among which was The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Microsoft has unveiled its new piece of Xbox One X hardware yesterday. Along with it, it offered multiple games with 4K graphics in its E3 launch chat, as well as announcing that others already released would arrive with special support. One of them was The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which in addition to offering technical improvements on Xbox One X, will also do so on PS4 Pro according to CD Projekt.
In addition, later the developer of the saga of Geralt of Rivia, CD Projekt RED, confirmed that the game will be improved for the console of Microsoft, but also for the system of PlayStation 4 Pro.
“I can confirm that we are working both on Xbox One X and PS4 Pro patches for The Witcher 3,” CD Projekt Red told Eurogamer. In addition, this news was also revealed on Twitter, through the official account of Marcin Momot, the community manager of the Polish studio.
At the moment it is not known exactly what the improvements will be on the upgraded platforms of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but it is believed that the main ones will be the inclusion of 4K resolution and the use of the HDR system to highlight the contrast and colors of the game.
