The Witcher 3 on Switch Runs at 540p Handheld, 720p Dockmode; No Cross-Save Support

In a publication on Twitter, CD Projekt RED confirmed the resolution to run The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for Nintendo Switch. In the publication, the studio confirmed that the acclaimed RPG will run at 540p while in portable mode, while it will be at 720p when the Switch is connected to the dock.

It is worth mentioning that the studio also confirmed that it will have a dynamic resolution. This means that the resolution will fall in some sectors in order to maintain a more stable frame rate per second.

In addition, it was also confirmed that the game will not support cross-saves from PC/PS4 or any other consoles, via its official Twitter account.
