The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening Release Date Confirmed, Gameplay Trailer Revealed

The presentation of Nintendo for E3 2019 was loaded with great surprises for Switch users. One of the most anticipated games was undoubtedly The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening.

Nintendo showed a trailer that allows us to take a closer look at this classic title of Game Boy, which will come fully renewed for Nintendo Switch. The interesting thing is that it will come with a function to create dungeons and then explore them.

The new trailer, which you can find below, shows us various gameplay scenes during which we see Link fighting using the classic combination of sword and shield, bombs and weapons from distance like a bow. Exploration, of course, will have a fundamental role during the adventure.

We can also see that the game will propose more types of visuals; the main part of the adventure, especially in the dungeons, will be with the classic view from above, but there will be a section, like a fishing one, during which the view becomes two-dimensional. As said above, a level editor was shown: the interesting thing is that it will come with a function to create dungeons and then explore them.

The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening will release for Nintendo Switch on September 20.
