Yesterday, on December 3, during the PlayStation Experience 2016 event the highly anticipated sequel to one of the most important games of the last generation, The Last of Us, was finally presented. After letting us know that there will be improvements to the technique and that we will play in the role of Ellie, the creative director has also reported that Sony had planned to wait until next E3 2017 for the further announcement of the game.
In the last clip of the trailer, just when Joel enters the room where Ellie is playing guitar, you can see that on the wall there is a series of posters. Recall that in this type of trailer the developers care to show the very last details, reviewing each of the frames to make sure everything is correct before leaving to see the highlight. This is where it is surprising to find a writing in one of these posters dated to June 13, especially if we consider that probably far from being a fluke, the fair of the E3 2017 could take place between 13 and 15 of that same month.
Does this mean we will know more about The Last of Us Part II on that day? For now we can only speculate and wait, time will tell. Although, again, it would be strange if it was just a random date. What do you think about this news? Tell us your opinion in the comment section below.
