The Last of Us Part II Won’t Be Playable At Madrid Games Week 2019
PlayStation will be present at Madrid Games Week 2019, the fifth edition of the reference fair of the video game sector to be held in the capital from October 3 to 6. Recently some of the titles that will be present in some way at the event were announced, but Sony denies that The Last of Us Part II is playable.
Sony confirmed that it will present “experiences” of The Last of Us Part II and Death Stranding, with the latter having a special theater behind closed doors where exclusive content will be screened. Some information has quickly spread through various media that have interpreted that the Naughty Dog game will feature some kind of demo and even a first look at the multiplayer or the announcement of its beta, something that Sony has denied us. The Spanish Official PlayStation Blog has been updated to avoid this confusion.
With more than 200 gaming stations with PlayStation 4 and PS VR, this year new experiences, interesting news and multiple activities are promised. In this way, visitors will have the opportunity, for the first time in Spain, to play demos of titles before their launch, such as Medievil, Dreams, Concrete Genie or Nioh 2, as well as Predator: Hunting Grounds.
With regard to virtual reality, PS VR will offer visitors the possibility to try out video games before launching such as Marvel’s Iron Man VR – with eight gaming positions – Blood and Truth and No Man’s Sky. The legacy is important, and that is why PlayStation will offer stalls of classic and exclusive title games such as Days Gone, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Gran Turismo Sport and Ready Set Heroes.
The thirds will also have presence, with games like Final Fantasy VII Remake, NBA 2K20, Borderlands 3, Call of Duty Modern Warfare, FIFA 20 or Crash Team Racing and GRID. Finally, PlayStation Talents will offer its always visited hollow, with a special area with 40 game positions in which the 20 semifinalists will be found, who may receive the vote of the representatives. Beyond tournaments, contests and services, Sony has announced that PlayStation Commitment, the area that the company dedicates to improving the lives of people, especially the youngest, will have a dedicated place.
Recall that a Media Event of The Last Of Us Part II is also scheduled for this September 24th, and an analyst has said that the international press will have the opportunity to try the game in advance for 3 hours.
