The Last of Us Part II Multiplayer Confirms Character Customization, In-Game Store
Since E3 2018, we have heard very little about The Last of Us Part II. For this reason, the community is looking for information everywhere. Thanks to this it was discovered that its multiplayer mode will have customization elements and a store.
What we are referring to is that Naughty Dog made mention of these characteristics in a new job offer. In it, they have revealed that it is in search of a server programmer who joins the team of The Last of Us Part II. In addition to mentioning the responsibilities of the person who will occupy the position, the vacancy indicates that the multiplayer of this title will have elements of character customization and an in-game store.
Here we present the full description of the job vacancy:
“We are looking for a server programmer who loves constructing a scalable, stable, and secure ecosystem of services for players to enjoy. You will usher them through the entire multiplayer experience, from first login, through matchmaking, and then granting rewards players can use to customize their characters in the store. As one of the caretakers of the live environment, you will be a critical part of the team that launches the game’s services.”
Imagining that the multiplayer of The Last of Us Part II would have elements of customization was not at all unreasonable. After all it is a characteristic that usually appears in this type of experience. In addition, the multiplayer of The Last of Us allows us to customize our character with different clothes. So, we would not be surprised to see this element of return.
The Last of Us Part II was confirmed in PlayStation Experience 2016. At the moment, the game has no release date, but its debut is expected to be on PlayStation 4.
