The Last of Us Part 2 is one of the most talked-about games of the moment, the first trailer has warmed the community, so much so that many have developed a theory of some sequences of the video. Warning: The following are major spoilers about the plot of The Last of Us, if you do not want advances of the game stop reading here.
During the PlayStation Experience, Neil Druckmann said that the game will we will control Ellie, pushing to perform certain actions moved by hatred and a sense of revenge. According to these words, some players have formulated a theory that Ellie would be angry for the death of Joel (presumably killed early in the game), her appearance in the trailer would be in the form of spiritual guidance, an influential figure only in memories and in the mind of the girl.
The (alleged) Joel’s death would make Ellie violent and aggressive, push it up to perform extremely violent actions. It is a fascinating theory but far from getting official confirmation, we encourage you to take these reports as mere speculation.
