A few days ago a rumor emerged that thrilled SEGA fans, as information about a possible remake of The House of the Dead came to light. The dream of many came true today, as it was confirmed that in effect the franchise will return with improved versions of several titles.

As mentioned in the rumor, Forever Entertainment signed an agreement with SEGA to make a remake of the title. The good news is that not only will the first game return, as a remake of The House of the Dead 2 is also in development.

For now, there is not much information about the new version of the games, as Forever Entertainment did not detail the improvements or reveal a tentative release date. Nor did it disclose the platforms on which the remakes will be available.

“Hi Guys! We confirm the signing of the agreement regarding remakes of the games “The House of the Dead” and “The House of the Dead 2”. No platforms or release dates have been confirmed, and unfortunately we can’t say anything more for now. Please keep fingers crossed for us and follow our official channels,” the studio wrote on its Twitter account.

Despite the lack of information about the remakes, the recent rumor points to a release of the first remake by 2020. In addition, it is mentioned that the games will feature new graphics that will be adapted to modern standards.

Also, small adjustments to the gameplay are expected, but the main gameplay elements and the original scenarios will be preserved. We will keep you informed about any developments that Forever Entertainment reveals about the titles.
